THÁNG SÁU TA BUỒN TIM TÁI TÊ
NGỌC AN
Năm nào tháng sáu ta rong chơi
Ánh nắng chiều nghiêng dưới mặt trời
Đuổi bướm vờn quanh hàng dậu tím
Thả diều theo ngọn gió chơi vơi...
Lần lữa bao mùa xuân nở hoa
Mấy đông trở giấc đọng sương pha
Thả trôi mơ mộng vào hư ảo
Ôm chuỗi ngày buồn...lẫn xót xa!
Tháng sáu nào mưa bão ngút ngàn
Tiễn người chiến sĩ vượt quan san
Đưa người yêu mến về lòng đất
Ta đã một thời lệ chứa chan...
Tháng sáu này ta đếm tủi hờn
Cha vào huyệt lạnh với cô đơn
Hôm nào bên cửa Cha còn đứng
Vẫy vẫy tay chào để tiễn con!
Tháng sáu con buồn tim tái tê
Còn đâu Cha đứng đón con về
Âm dương cách biệt rồi Cha nhỉ?
Vĩnh viên ôm sầu trong giấc mê...
Con thấy Cha từ trong bóng đêm
Bạc phơ mái tóc, ngủ êm đềm
ngàn năm giấc ngủ vào vô tận
Chua xót nghẹn ngào...chua xót thêm!
Từ đây cho đến cuối đời con
Một bóng đơn côi giữa xứ người
Con khóc khi đời dâng bão tố
Con cười...nhưng giọt lệ đầy vơi...
I TURNED DEADLY PALE WITH BOREDOM IN JUNE
I was wandering in June of the year
The evetide shine declined obliquely under the sun
I chased butterflies flying around the purple fence
Or flew a kite along the perilous capful of wind..
I lingered out so many springs in full bloom
And several forthcoming winters with accumulating dews
I dropped to leeward my dreams into illusion
To grasp a succession of sorrowful...and deplorable days!
In such a June with torrential rains and storms
I bade farewell to the combatant who surpassed the country
And accompanied the loving man to his last underground resting place
For me, there was a time brimming with tears...
I had to count up shame and sulk in this June
Father's corpse was burried on his lonesome and chilly grave
Those were the days, when Father was still alive and standing next to the doorstep
He waved his hands in greeting and seeing his son off
I turned deadly pale with boredom in June
Nothing was left to Father to welcome his son's return
Yin and Yang have already been separated in two ways, oh, dear Father!
To cling eternally to melancholy in my dreams...
I saw Father appearing from the night darkness
With his hoary hair, he slept peacefully
His death entered into infinity
Smarting and choking with tears...that's more smarting!
From now forward to the end of my life
A solitary shadow comes into sight in the alien land
I weep bitterly while the tempest is rising in my existence
I force a smile...but my eyes well up with tears..
